Getting there

Situated in the legendary Galle Fort, a living world heritage site, this beautiful villa lies in the heart of the fort. It is 115km from Colombo and with a short drive, has access to some of the best beaches in the world.

Atmosphere

The traditional Dutch house belonging to a merchant of the colonial era was renovated by a leading Australian interior designer adding all modern comforts and amenities but preserving its old charm. This white washed villa with its white floors creates a peaceful mind and a luxury setting for your holiday. The large Domba Tree' in the courtyard provides good shade for a late afternoon drink. The long and old-fashioned verandah and the living and dining areas are open spaces allowing you to access the inner courtyard and the pool.

Rooms and facilities

There are four large and spacious double rooms allowing 8 sleeps. So it is the perfect villa for a large family holiday or to have a vacation with your good old friends. The villa will be all for your self as you can enjoy it privately with your friends and family. The rooms are all air-conditioned and consist of large four-poster beds.

Dining and common areas

You can have your meals in the out-door pavilion overlooking the pool or in the dining area. Meals can be arranged by discussing with the cook. You can send him to the town to buy the necessary items for cooking and arrange a simple yet delicious meal for your friends and family.

A dip in the pool any time of the day will no doubt leave you refreshed from the hard sun or you can simply relax in the open lounge area or the verandah overlooking the pool and the garden.

The TV/DVD room will allow you to relax and unwind with your friends and family after a day of excursion.

Things to see and do

Take a pleasant stroll in the Fort and be fascinated by this living world heritage site or take a stroll in the circuit of the Fort Walls and visit the Star, Sun and Moon Bastions.

Take a drive to the Unawatuna Beach and have a day on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Laze around in the villa, sink in a couch with a book on the large open spaces in the villa or have a dip in the pool.
